Flex seeds are on of the seeds which can be eaten and have several advantages such as, 

Fiber is a component important for our body for functioning properly and flex seeds contain both soluble and in soluble type of fiber.

Protection against disease, flex seeds provide protection against many diseases like cancer of many kinds such as, breast cancer, prostate cancer and colon cancer. The Omega-3 in flex seeds inhabit the tumor development.
